ROBYN ROBINS BACK IN THE US, AFTER 15 YEARS IN IRELAND, TO BUILD PRODUCTION STUDIO IN MICHIGAN
Grand Rapids, MI – February 20, 2008Robyn Robins, American rock and roll keyboardist and founding member of the Bob Seger Silver Bullet Band, is back in the US after 15 years of living in Ireland.From his successful production studio, Mid-Atlantic-Digital Studios of Fermanagh County, Robins worked on thousands of film and music productions for artists, independent film companies and corporations. Currently researching locations, heintends to open a full in-house production studio to accommodate clients from both continents.Grand Rapids is high on the list due to its proximity to Detroit and Chigago.
In 2007, Robins moved his family back to the US, choosing his home state Michigan.From his private studio he continues with some of the largest, best known corporations, including Disney, Coca Cola, BMG Records, Warner Chappell and others, working on various film and music projects.European artists, such as Rodrigo y Gabriela, Damien Rice and artists from Celtic Woman I and II, continue to work with him, flying over to record new albums and sending recording data by DigiDeliveryTM for mastering. Recently Robins mastered an album for Scottish band, Journeybox.Robins specializes taking projects along their full path, from concept to final media duplication.Grand Rapids Middle-eastern fusion band Ensemble Al-Asdeka (www.al-asdeka.com) took advantage of Robins’ proximity and world music experience.He fully produced their new album, which was released in December, and is currently producing an album for Craic Wisely, soon to be known as Solar Bonfire, a Celtic rock band.Future projects include Michigan rock bands NUROKSOL, Hide from Cleo, funk band Funkilinium and singer Danny D; and several Irish bands.
Since returning to the US, Robins has completed over 20 new albums for overseas artists and plans to use his move to promote EU bands in the vast crossover market of the US, and introduce US artists to EU markets.
